Paqul Graham: leaves Anomaly (photo: Colin Stout)
His departure follows the appointment last November of Ben Moore, the former Sony and Nike marketer, as a partner at the agency.
Graham, the former managing partner of Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe / Y&R agency Saint, joined Anomaly to launch the UK office in 2009. The UK agency’s opening followed Carl Johnson’s launch of Anomaly in New York in 2005.
Graham has left the agency to take a break before considering his next move.
Since Moore’s arrival, Anomaly has hired Stuart Smith, the head of planning at Wieden & Kennedy New York, as a partner. It is expected to announce the appointment of a creative partner within weeks.
Last year, Anomaly lost its Sony Europe business after the advertiser made changes to its marketing team in Europe and moved to a system of briefing global work out of its Tokyo HQ.
