ESPN has created a soccer-inspired heavy metal band to promote the channel in the build up to the World Cup.
ESPN 'Rockumentary' by Wieden & Kennedy New York
The sports broadcaster has launched 'the Group of Death' and will support TV ads with digital content. The band has already played a live show and a tongue-in-cheek mockumentary about the band, has been posted on social networking sites.
